Moving on to pastures new

We are sad to announce that Martijn Mugge, Director of Business Development, is moving on to pastures new from August this year. Martijn joined QED Consulting in 2000 and was the driving force behind developing QED’s high-growth start-up programmes and QED’s Entrepreneur Schools. Martijn has also been a key member of the delivery team as an Assessor, Trainer, Facilitator and Coach.

From September Martijn and his family will be living in Southgate, London, where Martijn will be following his calling as a Christian to become more involved in full time Christian ministry. His training at Oak Hill Theological College is to prepare him to become ordained in the Church of England, and he is looking to return to the region as a Curate once his 3 year training is completed.

We wish Martijn all the best with his courageous move and settling into College in September

The ‘Leading for Success – Making Good Managers into Great Leaders’ seminar, held at the QED Consulting offices saw a great turnout and was well received by all. Bobby Singh of QED Consulting talked about the benefits of Leadership. The seminar specifically explored the key differences between managing and leading; what makes a good leader and how leadership can help in team performance. The seminar closed with a fun exercise to practice and apply some of the theories presented.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Jamie Smyth and everyone from the JCI Group along with the many organisations who were able to attend.
