Operations on the move!

QED Consulting, the experts in Talent Management and Leadership and Management Development, have appointed a new Managing Director. Katherine Humphreys, the current Operations Director has taken on the role from 1 April 2009.
This move is part of a longer term succession plan, paving the way for Executive Chairman/Acting MD Steve Hinton to take a step back and focus on his role as Chairman.

Meet the Entrepreneur – Ian Davy Managing Director Solarglas Windowcare & Sharan Gohel QED Consulting
For those of you who had your appetites wetted in last months E bulletin on Talent Management, one of our very own Chartered Psychologists, Sharan will be speaking on this matter at a Pro-Sheffield event.

The presentation will highlight some of the key areas within Talent Management that are vital in managing change in the current economic climate. Sharan will be speaking alongside Ian Davy who built Windowcare UK from scratch until it was sold in 2002 to French giant Saint-Gobain. Since then Ian has remained Managing Director and turnover has doubled to £27m in the past four years. Ian will discuss how he built up his business and how he has managed and overcome the challenges of the current economic climate. This is sure to be a motivating and inspirational talk as you will have the chance to learn the secrets of his success!
In addition to networking opportunities and light refreshments, delegates will be able to talk to the speakers and the experienced business advisers who will be on hand to explain the free business support services available through Business Link Yorkshire.
