Our Evening with Martin Temple - Update

Our evening with Martin Temple, Director General of the Engineering Employers Federation was fascinating. Martin talked about the relationship between business and politics and how organizations can effectively make their case to government.

He took us through all the key issues regarding lobbying and the right way to approach constituency MPs, Ministers, senior Civil servants and the media. In the question and answer session at the end he also revealed some interesting insights into the idiosyncrasies of current and past Ministers and Prime Ministers.

We would to express our sincere thanks to Martin for his time, knowledge and good humour and to Karen Trem and the Doncaster Business School for jointly hosting the event and providing the excellent venue. We hope to see you at our 2010 event – details to follow!
